What Our Pets Parents Say

Let me introduce you to my pet family’s parents and what they have to say about me. We are sure that you and your animals will be just as pleased as our existing customers.

We love Joanne! She is wonderful with our four dogs and they adore her. We could not ask for a better person to trust with our pet care needs.

Our miniature schnauzer, Gertie, loves Something To Bark About! Joanne treats her like one of her own & we can relax while away knowing Gertie is in good hands.

For the first time in many years, my husband and I can now go away and know that our pets are receiving the very best care possible. Joanne goes above and beyond and truly takes care of our pets as though they were her own; what a fabulous service!!! Thank you, Joanne.

Joanne, with “Something To Bark About” has cared for my puppies for years. She is an excellent caregiver and they love her. It is so much easier than taking them to a kennel- they are happy and I am happy! And they are home to greet me when I arrive. Joanne always goes the extra mile- she even stays in touch during my trip. She has even sent pictures! I trust Joanne and “Something To Bark About” with my babies and my home. Thank you, Joanne, for being so special.

I have had my toy poodle for 7 years and had boarded her only once. It was a horrific experience for her and me. She was very ill for 2 weeks after that nightmare. But, my husband and I were wanting to travel out of the country for our 25th wedding anniversary and she could not come with us. Joanne had taken care of our two cats and had done an excellent job. They were always well taken care of and were happy when we returned home from a trip. Our male cat had to have insulin administered to him twice a day so for her to come in and give him his medication was vital. He was always given his medication even when he was being very difficult and hiding from Joanne. She never gave up the “hunt” until she had given him his insulin. Believe me he knows how to hide!! Joanne had indicated to us that she could take care of my dog. We decided to give it a trial run over a long weekend out of town. It was an excellent experience. Joanne told me to call her anytime to check up on Gigi – which of course I did. When we returned home Gigi was happy, calm and not traumatized. It was a wonderful weekend for Gigi and us! And of course the cats were well taken care of at home. We are extremely grateful to have found someone who loves animals as much as we love ours. Joanne is very dependable, loving and professional. We don’t worry for a minute while we are out of town. She is a life saver!

I LOVE Joanne @ Something to Bark About SO MUCH! Don’t hesitate – if you are looking for a reliable sitter, contact her ASAP to set-up a meet and greet. You will instantly love her personality and feel comforted by her professionalism and expertise. I had difficulty finding a reliable sitter and have been so grateful to have found Joanne – she has been the BEST nanny for my girls for the past 9 years, and I am very hard to please! ?

It is evident Joanne enjoys being a pet sitter and takes her job very seriously, she is a TRUE professional so you can rest assured your babies are being well cared for and loved while you are away from home.

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Joanne and Something to Bark About. She is over the top awesome and treats our dogs like her own with a tremendous amount of love and affection.

She has been watching our dogs for about 2 years now. I never have to worry about the dogs when we are are on vacation or away for the weekend because they are in her care. Joanne will send update and messages throughout her visits. She even taxis our dogs to play with other dogs at times.

One of my dogs is scared of thunderstorms and fireworks and she will even stay past her visit time just to comfort him. You can’t get any better than that!

I highly recommend Joanne if you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, caring, fun dog sitter.
